Background
Rosmer Lockhart Associates was founded in January 2025, solidifying decades of diverse experience.
Over two decades, Kate, Director of RLA, has secured funding from a diverse range of sources and driven growth for cultural, creative, and educational institutions. At the University of Nottingham, she secured significant gifts and built strategic corporate and alumni relationships, supporting Lakeside Arts, Ingenuity Impact, and medical research.
Previously Director of Business Development at New Art Exchange, she played a key role in securing major funding, including a £4.7 million ERDF grant for the Big House creative industries programme, following her successful design and delivery of Real Creative Futures.
A trained ILM Level 5 coach, Kate has supported 120+ creative businesses and coached cultural leaders, civil servants, and development professionals.
At the National College for School Leadership, she scaled a headteacher coaching programme nationally and later joined the University of Nottingham’s coaching pool, supporting colleagues at all levels.
As Design Review Panel Manager (East Midlands), Kate partnered with English Heritage to deliver Building in Context and founded the National Design Review Network with CABE. Her long-standing interest in philanthropy and civic life includes roles with Sheffield Civic Trust and Allen Tod Architecture, coordinating bids and public art commissions.
As a development consultant, Kate supports small and medium-sized charities and not-for-profits, applying her expertise in cultural policy, business management, fundraising, facilitation and coaching.
